In our last post we told you about our little Rus. The medication he was put on did him the world of good and he was running round thinking he was a 4 year old and not 14.
Sadly though, yesterday 19/05/23 he took a turn for the worst.
We thought he was just having one of those bad days like we all have.
Sadly, this morning 20/05/23, he could not even stand up or walk. He had been vomiting all night and could not eat or drink.

We took him to an emergency vet as we knew he would possibly not last the day.
Looking at his medical records, the vet thought the abnormal growth in his stomach may have ruptured as he was bleeding internally.
We did not want our Rus to be in any pain or suffer any longer so we made the decision to have him put to sleep.
Rus is no longer with us in life, but he will always be with us in our hearts and thoughts for ever.

We love you Rus and will miss you a lot. Play nice with Shane and don’t go pinching biscuits off Grandad.
