Well…. First Doctors, Dentists, Hospital appointments have prevented us from posting and updating the website, sadly it is now the vet.
Our little lad Russel had a stroke last year. this in itself has created a few problems. Now the poor lad has something wrong with his lungs. fluid keeps building up in his lungs causing a very bad cough and choking.
The vet gave him some antibiotics which seemed to clear the problem. A month or so later it all came back with a vengeance.
Moor medication was given but a day after his last tablet, it all started again.
We have had very little sleep for the past few nights looking after him so now we are waiting for the Easter Brake to be over to get him back to the vets.

So far the vet bills have reached nearly £3000, but, as far as we are concerned the money is nothing as long as Rus is not suffering.

Although he is an old lad, he still has a lot of energy in him and loves to play fight and go for walks.
We are certainly not going to give up on him yet but we also do not want him to suffer. We will do all we can for him before we think about letting him go.
