Description

All the parts required to put together a Scale Chevy Flat Bed.

There are two versions of this kit. One is Self Assembly, you assemble all the parts yourself.
The second is Fully Assembled, I do all the work for you and send you a Fully Assembled Scale Body.

All parts have been 3D printed with a high quality PLA Filament that I use for my own printing requirements resulting in a lot of detail and making all parts fit together very easily once final preparation has been done.

All parts have had most of the excess print materials, (print supports etc) removed and initial sanding done. Some parts may show grey or dark patches. This is normal when using wet sanding to remove the access support material and does not affect the parts and does not show through paint

As with all 3D printed parts, you will need to do some sanding and possible filling so you will need to do the final sanding and filling, before assembly and painting, to achieve the finish you require.

Most paints will take to the PLA well, I use Water Base Acrylics and a final spray of Clear Acrylic.

If lights are being installed you will also need to drill appropriate holes in the grill light buckets and rear bed. (no light brackets/holes are in the parts as there are so many types of LED lights it is better for you to create the holes to suit the lights you are using.)

Once you have done the final preparations, all the parts will go together easily and can be customized as you would like.

I would recommend using Cyanoacrylate (model superglue) to glue the parts together and small screws for the truck bed.

Clear 3D printed Light lenses are in the kit as well as a sheet of clear card for all windows.

Approximate Size of Body (when assembled)

Length: Aprox 48cm

Width:   Aprox 21cm

Hight:    Aprox 14.5cm

Wheelbase: Aprox32cm When measured from centre front wheel arch to centre rear wheel arch.

Once assembled, the body will fit most 1/10 scale crawler chassis. In the example pics, the body is fitted on an SCX10 Chassis.

You  will see in the Example Pics what can be done with this body kit and I can, if requested, print off most accessories you require.
